Dealer wants a kidney for a Huracan oil change, where do you guys go in Dubai that knows these cars?
So my 2017 Huracan just popped the service reminder and I called the dealer out of habit and they quoted me something north of four thousand dirhams for what is essentially an oil change and a pollen filter, and I just sat there in silence for a good ten seconds before telling them I'd call back while knowing full well I would not be calling back. I know these V10s take a very specific weight oil and the dry sump system means you can't just have some guy at a petrol station with a wrench have a go at it, but I also know the actual oil and filter kit costs maybe a fifth of what they're charging and the rest is just paying for the fancy coffee machine in the waiting area. I was digging around online last night trying to find an independent shop that actually knows Lamborghinis and won't treat it like a mystery, and I saw Royal Prince Auto Care has a page for it where you can Click to see full details on what their service actually includes and which spec oil they use, which is more transparency than I got from the guy on the phone. I'm just trying to figure out if anyone here has actually used them or a similar specialist for their Lambo and can tell me if they do the proper service reset and don't leave fingerprints all over the Alcantara, because I'd rather not pay four figures just to have my car treated like royalty for an hour, I can do that myself at home with a microfiber and some self respect.
