Sierra battery conked out in my building's parking, anyone know a mobile guy who won't scratch the truck up?
So my 2019 Sierra Denali has been sitting for maybe two weeks while I was out of town and I came back yesterday to a truck that just groaned once when I hit the start button and then went completely silent, and of course the battery on these things is tucked way back under the hood with a bunch of plastic covers and a brace that looks like you need a degree in engineering to remove without breaking something. I could probably figure it out myself with a socket set and some patience but it's like forty degrees out there and I'm not really in the mood to wrestle with a heavy battery while sweating through my shirt in a parking garage. I was looking for a mobile service that does GMC vehicle battery installation service with the right AC Delco spec and won't leave greasy handprints all over my fenders, and I saw BatteryZone has a whole page for GMC models which seems promising. Anyone used them or another mobile outfit for their truck in Dubai and had a smooth experience where they actually torqued everything down properly and didn't just wing it? I just want to get this thing fired up so I can go get a proper wash and maybe a karak.
