Hey everyone,
I recently checked my gratuity amount in UAE, and it’s less than I expected. I thought it would be based simply on my basic salary and years of service, but the final number is much lower. Does anyone know why this happens? Are there deductions I’m missing, or does resignation vs termination affect the calculation? I also tried using a Gratuity Calculator UAE to compare, but even that gave me slightly different results. If anyone has experienced this or can explain why gratuity can be lower than expected, please help.
