Firstly, to review if any messages have been blocked on the iPhone, open the Settings -> Phone -> Blocked Contacts or Settings -> Messages -> Blocked Contacts and see the blocked numbers. Nevertheless, iPhones do not keep or show text messages that were received from a blocked number. Therefore, even if you decide to unblock the contact after some time, the messages that you blocked earlier will not pop up again, as those messages were not sent to your device during the block period.
