Just moved to Abu Dhabi with a Bentley and a Porsche and feeling a bit lost on where to take them
Relocated from London about three weeks ago for work and had my Continental GT and the wife's Cayenne shipped over and they finally cleared customs last week which was a huge relief until I realized I have absolutely no idea where to take them for even the most basic upkeep out here. Back home I had a guy I'd been using for nearly a decade who knew every bolt on both cars and never once tried to upsell me on nonsense I didn't need and starting from scratch in a new city is honestly a bit daunting especially when you're dealing with cars that require a bit more finesse than the average saloon. I've driven past a few places in Mussafah that have fancy signage and supercars parked outside but I'm old enough to know that a clean waiting room and free espresso doesn't always translate to a mechanic who actually knows the proper torque sequence for the Bentley's wheel bolts or understands why the Porsche's PDK fluid change is a completely different procedure than a standard automatic transmission service. I suppose what I'm really hunting for is a proper Luxury Car Service Abu Dhabi that has the diagnostic equipment for both brands under one roof so I'm not running around to three different specialists depending on which car has a service light on this month and where the staff actually remember your name and the car's history instead of just seeing you as another invoice number. Anyone else here juggling a couple of different European marques and found a single shop they genuinely trust with all of them or is the reality here that you need a separate guy for each badge.
