AC smells like a gym bag and barely blows cold in my A4. Anyone know a place that actually fixes this?
So my 2017 Audi A4 has been giving me the runaround with the AC for weeks now. It started with this weird musty smell every time I turned it on, like someone left a wet towel under the seat, and now it just blows slightly cool air even when I have it on LO and the fan maxed out. I recharged the refrigerant myself thinking I was being clever and saving some cash, but it held pressure for exactly three days before going back to lukewarm misery in this Sharjah humidity. The car is parked in the sun all day at work and the drive home on Al Wahda Road is honestly becoming a sweat lodge. I'm starting to think it's either a sneaky evaporator leak or maybe the compressor clutch is about to give up, but I don't want some random garage with a guy just guessing and throwing parts at it.
