Picking up a new Kodiaq next week and thinking about ceramic coating, is it worth it for a Skoda?

So after months of going back and forth between SUVs we finally put a deposit down on a Kodiaq Sportline and I'm pretty excited to get it but now I'm going down the rabbit hole of paint protection because I've seen how quickly cars get destroyed out here between the sun and the sand and I really don't want it looking dull and scratched up after a year of driving to work and back. The dealer offered me some "premium protection package" for a ridiculous amount of money that I'm pretty sure is just a glorified wax job they apply in the back lot so I started looking for independent detailers who actually know what they're doing with ceramic coatings. I stumbled on Exotic Car Care's site and they have a whole section for Skoda stuff, you can Learn more about this offer and the different coating tiers they provide which is helpful because I had no idea there were so many options. I'm just trying to figure out if it's actually worth dropping the extra cash on a ceramic coat for what is essentially a sensible family hauler or if I should just stick to regular washes and maybe a good sealant twice a year. Anyone on here had their Skoda or similar VW group car ceramic coated in Abu Dhabi and felt like it actually made a difference in keeping the paint looking fresh and making the sand easier to rinse off? I'm trying to justify it to myself before the wife sees the invoice.
